John Falcke was an English artist, who had been painting for more than sixty years, when he died in September 2018.
A selection of his work was exhibited for the first time, at the Mall Galleries in London in March 2018. Falcke on The Mall received a wonderfully warm response.
Falcke translates everyday experience into a modernist language of particular clarity and simplicity, presenting poetic images that are at once familiar and unique.
